Responsible gambling
Betting is a paid game, not a way to earn. Treat the money you stake as money you have already spent.
Set your limits before you bet
Decide two numbers before you open the app. Decide how much you can lose this month. Decide how long you will play each day. Write both down.
- Open the account menu in the app and look for the limit settings.
- Set a deposit limit first. It is the strongest brake you have.
- Set a time reminder if your version offers one.
- Ask support to apply a limit if you cannot find the setting.
Warning signs
Any one of these is a reason to stop and take a break.
- You bet to win back what you lost.
- You borrow money to place a bet.
- You hide your betting from the people you live with.
- You stake money that was meant for rent, food or school fees.
- You feel angry or low when you cannot bet.
- You bet longer than you planned, most days.
Self-exclusion
You can ask the operator to close your account or to block it for a set period. Write to support on the number for your country. The list of numbers is on our contacts section. Keep a copy of your message.
A blocked account is not a cooling-off trick. Do not open a second account to get around it. That breaks the terms and can cost you your balance.
Where to ask for help
Public helplines differ by country and change often, so we do not print a number we cannot verify today. Start with your own doctor or clinic. They can refer you without cost in most of the region.
Speak to someone you trust as well. A betting problem grows in silence and shrinks when it is said out loud.
Age rules
You must be 18 in Malawi, Zimbabwe, Tanzania and Liberia. You must be 21 in Namibia. Never let a child use your account or your phone while the app is open. More on our age rules page.
